Overview
A fantastic Junior Sous Chef opportunity is available at a lovely independent boutique Hotel & Spa in the heart of the Cotswolds. This role is ideal for a strong Senior CDP or Junior Sous looking to step up, learn, and develop within a high-quality fresh food kitchen.
The RoleYou’ll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, playing a key role in service, standards, and team support. This is a hands-on position suited to a chef with strong fundamentals and the ambition to grow.
Working hours are friendly by hospitality standards, with the kitchen team typically finished by 9pm
.
- £35,000 salary
- Service charge/tips on top
- Typical shifts 11am–9pm (some shorter days)
- 45 hours per week
- Fully staffed kitchen brigade (apart from this role)
- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)

Currently a Senior CDP or Junior Sous Chef
Experience in a fresh food, quality-led kitchen
Keen to learn, progress, and take on more responsibility
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Due to location and shift patterns,
own transport is likely required
