Are you a commercially driven professional with a passion for building relationships and creating growth opportunities? We’re looking for a New Business Account Manager to join our Sales team. In this role, you’ll identify, engage, and convert prospective clients into long-term partners, laying the foundation for sustainable client growth and directly impacting ROCK’s success.
What you'll be doing- Building, maintaining, and managing a high-value sales pipeline to deliver against ambitious monthly and annual targets
- Taking full ownership of assigned sales opportunities, from first contact through to successful closure
- Developing compelling business cases and tailored proposals to meet client needs and win new contracts
- Building trusted relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a dedicated advocate for your accounts
- Managing all commercial aspects of accounts, including agreements, contracts, and project sales
- Collaborating closely with delivery, marketing, bid, and service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term client satisfaction
- Producing accurate sales forecasts and maintaining up-to-date CRM records to track pipeline and performance
- Driving cross-sales and strategic growth within your account base while acquiring new clients
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar sales‑related role
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C‑suite
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals and delivering client‑focused solutions
- Knowledge of the IT industry, covering managed services, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking and infrastructure, endpoints, and cybersecurity
- Excellent relationship‑building, listening, and problem‑solving abilities
- High level of IT literacy and experience with CRM software (e.g., Halo)
- Full UK driving licence
- Desirable: Experience in managed services environments and a proven ability to support strategic roadmaps and growth initiatives.
