Derbyshire Carers Association (DCA) is a local charity based in Derbyshire that supports children and adults who care for a family member, friend or partner who needs help because of illness, disability, mental health issues, frailty or addiction.

DCA are recruiting a passionate and motivated Service Lead to oversee our carers services across Derby City. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of unpaid carers and wants to lead a dedicated, supportive team.

From April 2026, you will lead on the Carers Service in Derby. This is a new and exciting role, created to strengthen the support available to carers across the city and ensure the service continues to grow, innovate and reach those who need it most.

• You will oversee the delivery of high‑quality, accessible and inclusive support for all adult carers.
• A key part of this role is ensuring we reach carers from diverse communities, including those who may not recognise themselves as carers without the right encouragement and support.
• We are looking for someone with experience, passion and commitment to ensuring every carer has a voice and can access the help they need.
• You will manage staff, build strong partnerships, represent the organisation internally and externally, and help shape the future direction of the service.
