OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has been created within our Youth Support Service to provide open access support to young people of Bridgend.
Responsibilities- Facilitate a needs‑led provision that meets the needs of young people in line with the five aims identified in the Youth Work Strategy for Wales.
- Work a minimum of two evenings per week, with occasional weekend work.
- Operate in a variety of settings, including street‑based service delivery, as service needs dictate.
- Greet customers in Welsh.
- Full valid driving licence.
- Enhanced DBS check with Children’s Barred list clearance.
- Weekend working is required.
- Proficiency in welcoming customers via Welsh.
- Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core council responsibility.
