The Youth Engagement and Participation Service (YEPS) are recruiting 3 part‑time (6 hour posts) youth workers to support our evening provision. This is an exciting opportunity to join a great team in one of our thriving youth clubs in RCT, where we support and engage with young people aged 11-25.
Job DescriptionYou will need to be available from 5-8pm, 2 evenings a week and be flexible on the evenings you can work. You will need an enhanced DBS check to start.
These posts are for locally qualified youth workers (Level 3 qualified, paid at Grade 6 – £14.59 per hour) and include work in school holiday time as well as term time.
If you think this post is for you but you are unqualified and passionate about youth work, we will still consider your application. The unqualified rate is a Grade 4 (£13.26 per hour). However you will be expected to undertake and complete the Youth and Community Work qualification levels 2 and 3 within a 2‑year period to comply with Education Workforce Council registration.
This will be supported by YEPS.
