HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

Location: Bridgend, South Wales
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp To Perm opportunity
Pay: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We are looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Driver to join our professional transport team based in Bridgend, South Wales
.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed driver who takes pride in delivering a high standard of service and enjoys working away during the week.

• Nationwide deliveries and collections
• Monday to Friday tramping (occasional weekend work may be available)
• Ensuring loads are delivered safely and on time
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Maintaining accurate driving and working time records
• Complying with all road transport legislation and company procedures

To be considered, you must have:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Minimum 1 year's experience driving Class 1 vehicles
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of UK drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• A professional, reliable and flexible attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN convictions)

• Competitive hourly rate of £16.00-£18.00 per hour
