Class 2 Hiab Driver - Bridgend, UK

Are you an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver looking for flexible work opportunities? Manpower Wales is recruiting reliable and professional drivers for a number of roles across South Wales.
We are expanding our driver pool to support a range of client requirements, including adhoc shifts, sickness cover, short-term assignments, regular weekly work, and long-term bookings.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently in line with all relevant legislation and company procedures.
  • Use the Hiab crane to load and unload goods safely, accurately and in accordance with safe working practices.
  • Complete vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before departure.
  • Secure loads correctly to prevent damage and ensure safe transit.
  • Follow delivery schedules and communicate promptly with the transport office and customers where required.
  • Maintain accurate records, including delivery documentation and tachograph compliance.
  • Adhere to site rules and health & safety requirements at all times.
  • Report any defects, incidents or delays to the relevant person without delay.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Valid UK Class 2 (Category

    C)
    driving licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification.
  • Valid Digital tachograph driver card.
  • Experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles.
  • Relevant Hiab / crane operator certification or proven experience operating a crane in a commercial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safe load securing and safe working practices.
  • Good understanding of tacho and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers and site staff.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and stay calm under pressure.
  • Good level of route planning awareness and attention to detail
