HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted – NEW PASSES WELCOME

NEWLY QUALIFIED CLASS 2 DRIVERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY – NO PREVIOUS HGV EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

Location:

Bridgend, Wales

Pay: £16.17 per hour
Overtime: £24.26 per hour after 7.5 hours per day

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – approx. 3:30 PM
Bonus: £500 bonus paid after completing 8 weeks!

Smart Solutions Recruitment is currently recruiting a number of HGV Class 2 Drivers for a busy recycling contract in Bridgend.

This is a driver/loader role, so all applicants must be willing to load when required as part of a team. Full training and a paid induction/driver assessment are provided, making this an excellent opportunity for newly qualified Class 2 drivers looking to gain experience.

Role Responsibilities

* Driving and loading duties as part of a refuse and recycling team

* Working outdoors in all weather conditions

* Manual handling required – ability to perform physical manual handling tasks is essential

* Full training and paid induction/driver assessment before starting

* Temp-to-perm opportunities available for the right candidates

Requirements

* Valid UK Class 2 (Category

C) licence

* Newly qualified Class 2 drivers welcome

* Valid Driver CPC

* Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Card)

* No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)

* Willingness to perform manual loading tasks when required

* Reliable, team-oriented and safety-conscious

* Comfortable working outdoors and carrying out physical duties
