Critical Care Intensivist (Cardiothoracic Surgery) opening in Bridgeport, CTJob:We invite board certified/board eligible Critical Care Intensivists, with experience in caring for cardiothoracic surgery patients, to learn more about this outstanding opportunity at a national leader in cardiovascular disease prevention, treatment, surgery, and research, providing personalized care to more patients and performing more advanced cardiac procedures than any other cardiac program in Connecticut.

We are seeking a full-time Critical Care Intensivist to join our growing intensivist team. This position will focus on delivering superb clinical care to a diverse, medically complex patient population, supported by the highest-caliber cardiovascular invasive, diagnostic, and surgical services in a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting. Position Details and Requirements:

• Opportunity for a BC/BE Critical Care physician to join a team of collegial and highly trained ICU staff
• Care for patients with complex cardiovascular disease which can include pre- and post-operative care
• Successful candidate will be able to place chest tubes and perform bronchoscopy
• The system-wide Heart and Vascular Institute is one of the strongest programs in the country, performing over 1500 surgeries per year.
• BC/BE:
  Critical Care Medicine. Experience with Cardiac Critical Care and pre/post cardiac surgery patients required.
