Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Elementary School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment in Bridgeport, CT. Position Overview- Deliver high-energy, standards-aligned ELA lessons that focus on foundational reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Administer and evaluate assessments to monitor student progress, implementing instructional modifications while maintaining an inclusive classroom environment that fosters student curiosity.
- Collaborate closely with grade-level teams, literacy coaches, and families to align support strategies and celebrate student growth.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- Valid Connecticut Teaching Certification (Preferred)
- Non-Certified Candidates:
Must have 12+ relevant subject-area credits and provide a copy of their transcript
- Non-Certified Candidates:
- 1-2 years experience teaching, preferably with a strong emphasis on elementary literacy or English Language Arts (ELA) instruction
- Top Compensation:
Earn $35.90 - $40.30 Per Hour, based on your experience and qualifications as an Elementary English Language Arts Teacher, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives. - Generous Benefits:
