Position: Dietary Aide Patient Services - Full Time/Days/BH

Under the direction of the Coffee Shop Manager, this position is responsible for dining room preparation, waiting on customers, cash handling, stocking and cleaning, and preparation of food and beverage according to recipes. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service – Provides the highest level of customer service to all customers by greeting them in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Cash Handling – Follows proper cash handling procedures as determined by department standards.
  • Food Preparation – Prepares food items according to established department standards and recipes, as directed by supervisor or manager.
  • Sanitation – Assists in maintaining clean and properly sanitized production and retail areas.
  • Safety – Ensures the safety of patients, staff, and visitors through enforcement of department safety policies and procedures.
  • Additional Tasks – Performs any additional assignments as required by manager or supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Education. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience. Minimum experience is not explicitly required; prior experience in a food service or customer service role is a plus.
  • Special Skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to speak and read English. Excellent organization, time‑management, and customer service skills; ability to multitask.
  • Physical Demand. Flexible schedule; able to work when needed including weekend and holidays; able to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 30 pounds, and walk for long distances. Cash handling skills a plus.
