Hartford Healthcare - : [Pharmacy Tech] As a Sterile Products Pharmacy Technician at Hartford Healthcare, you'll:
Assist Pharmacists in the preparation of non-hazardous and hazardous (oncology) sterile medications;
Prepare non-hazardous sterile product preparations (e.g. IV medications) adhering to department SOPs;
Prepare hazardous sterile product preparations (e.g. chemotherapy medications) using all appropriate personal protective equipment adhering to department SOPs;
Properly use all IV room equipment to prepare assigned compounds in a sterile environment.
