The Nursing Coordinator (RN) for Electrophysiology oversees clinical care coordination for patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures. This role is ideal for experienced nurses with a strong background in cardiac care and leadership.
Highlights- Location: Bridgeport, CT
- Facility: St. Vincent’s Medical Center
- Schedule: Full Time, Day shift
- Monitor departmental compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Provide both direct and indirect patient care to achieve desired outcomes.
- Assist management with operational activities and nursing staff advancement.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care delivery.
- Perform quality assurance studies and assist with quality improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a resource to staff and external contacts on patient care issues.
- Utilize decision making and problem solving to ensure quality service.
- Communicate effectively with peers and interdisciplinary teams.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing;
Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a progressive leadership or supervisory role.
- Prior experience in electrophysiology or program coordination preferred.
- Current RN License in Connecticut.
- Certified BLS Provider from AHA or American Red Cross.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Automatic enrollment into the Nurse Residency Program for graduate RNs.
