American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position at a Level II Trauma Center requiring at least 2 years of experience and a compact or CT RN license.

• MS/Tele unit in a short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds
• Level II Trauma Center
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Works every other weekend
• Floating required as needed
• Uses Epic charting system

• Active RN license (Compact or CT) required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Telemetry certification required
• Must pass EKG/Tele exam prior to starting
• Level II Trauma Center or large facility trauma experience required
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required with religious/medical exemption only
• One reference required for consideration

• Part of the Yale New Haven Health System
• Free parking available
• Returning staff must have been separated from permanent employment for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
• Facility can auto-approve up to 7 days of requested time off
• Candidates must live outside a 75-mile radius to be eligible unless local rate is requested
