American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 10-week winter coverage night shift assignment at a Level II Trauma Center requiring compact RN licensure and Epic experience.

• 34-bed Med/Surg Tele unit in a short-term acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours )
• Level II Trauma Center within the Yale New Haven Health System
• Required to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Floating required as needed
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active CT or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in specialty required (1.5 years considered with Level I trauma or travel experience)
• Previous travel experience required
• Skills required include IV therapy/phlebotomy, central line blood draws, PICC line management, cardiac monitoring, telemetry (unit and remote), wound care, and respiratory care including tracheostomy and oxygen administration
• One professional reference required
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required with religious or medical exemption only

• 10-week contract specifically for winter coverage
• Must start by 12/18/2026
• Local radius restrictions waived for this assignment only
• No holiday RTO permitted
• Maximum of 5 days RTO allowed
• Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
• Free parking provided on-site
