Medical Director – Ash Creek Animal Hospital & Spa

Ash Creek Animal Hospital & Spa in Blackrock, CT is seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Director to lead veterinary care at our state‑of‑the‑art clinic. As a leader on a collaborative, family‑like team, you will reimagine the veterinary experience in the community and deliver the highest quality care to pet patients.

• Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and injuries of dogs and cats, including surgical and medical care.
• Collaborate with referring veterinarians and communicate within the veterinary ecosystem.
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay current in the field.
• Lead and supervise the clinic team, working with the Hospital Manager on finances.
• Work with the Regional Operations Manager and Hospital Manager to maintain high standards and provide superior pet patient care.
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in wellness care.
• Perform dental procedures.
• Contribute to a positive workplace for staff, clients, and pets.

• Competitive base salary $150,000‑$175,000 plus production bonuses.
• Incentive or relocation bonus up to $200,000.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
• 2+ years of practice in a veterinary hospital preferred; new graduates considered.
• Internship training preferred but not required.
• Ability to obtain a CT Veterinary License.
