Job Description

The Assistant Community Manager supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational facets of the community. Responsibilities include accounting, reporting, rent collection, and using the property management system to record and track finances.

Essential Roles You Will Play
  • Support leasing and marketing efforts, completing the full leasing cycle.
  • Complete daily financial transactions and review invoices for payment.
  • Analyze market trends and recommend improvements.
  • Enforce lease processes, including inspections and collections.
  • Conduct property tours, manage client/owner relationships, and manage contractors.
  • Maintain property appearance and report mechanical issues.
  • Act as on‑site supervisor in the Community Manager’s absence.
  • Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Work Hours

40 hours per week. Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm;
Saturday 10am – 5pm;
Sunday 1pm – 5pm.

Essential Requirements
  • Must be available to work weekends.
  • Work in an office environment and frequent exposure to outside elements.
Qualifications Summary

High School Diploma or GED. Prefer Property Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service background. Skilled in communication, presentation, and delivery. Proficient in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, database management, and property management software (Entrata, Yardi, One Site). Current valid driver’s license. No certifications required.

Physical Requirements

Push, pull, lift up to 20 pounds independently; 50 pounds with assistance. Stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, squat, sit for keyboard work. Allows routine local travel; may require non‑local travel.
