As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol in Bridgeport, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at financial institution locations. Your role includes interacting with employees and visitors, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside the financial institution and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with site protocols.
• Assist employees, visitors, and clients with security-related inquiries and concerns, providing clear information and guidance as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related emergencies or unusual situations at the location.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
