Position: Onsite Field Service Technician- Greater Atlanta

Onsite Field Service Technician - Greater Atlanta

About the Role: You will provide exceptional on‑site service and support for customers’ printer equipment in the Greater Atlanta area. Your responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing various printer models to ensure peak performance.

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to customer service calls, meeting established SLA targets.
  • Diagnose and repair printer issues efficiently, keeping all equipment within published specifications.
  • Manage a well‑organized schedule to meet workload and customer deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on call acceptance, ETA, service progress, and resolution.
  • Answer customer queries related to printer devices.
  • Provide training to customers on proper printer usage and features.
  • Complete all service call documentation before leaving the site.
  • Follow data collection and reporting procedures, including parts management and tracking.
  • Maintain accurate local inventory of printer parts.
  • Project a professional image through appropriate attire, communication skills, and presentation.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in special projects and activities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of field service or customer support experience.
  • Strong understanding of electro‑mechanical systems.
  • 2–5 years of experience servicing printers or imaging equipment.
  • Excellent driving record and a valid driver’s license.
  • Proficient administrative and computer skills.
  • Ability to safely lift and maneuver equipment up to 60 lb.

  • Quick learner of new technologies and procedures.
Education
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
