• Hourly Pay: $39.25 per hour
• Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE Certification, up to $700
• Quarterly Bonus: up to $500 per quarter (four times per year)
• Sign On Bonus: $1,750 at 30 days and $1,750 at 90 days

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Vocational or technical post‑secondary degree or technical certifications (preferred)
• Basic tools (required)
• Experience repairing automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, brake and tire work)
• Basic diagnostics and repairs of AC and electrical systems (required)
• Three (3) years or more relevant work experience (preferred)
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A (preferred)
• All other certifications required by location (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy‑duty and medium‑duty equipment
• Basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
• Driver of Ryder vehicles; must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
• Pass a Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background & motor‑vehicle check

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties, including standard and preventive maintenance, and complex mechanical and electronic diagnostics using diagnostic computers
• Complete complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
• Replace defective components as instructed and work unsupervised on most tasks
• Perform facility maintenance duties
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints and assign tasks
• Utilize shop management system and electronic documentation
• Work in accordance with all federal, provincial, and corporate compliance guidelines (safety, DOT, MOT)
• Act as a mentor for Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels
• Access and use internal and external maintenance documents
• Provide additional support duties as required (e.g., Service Island support)
• Complete SBTIII training within 180 days (SBT
  220) and two of the OEM online diagnostic scan‑tool software courses within 365 days
