Job Overview
A manufacturing company in Bridgeport is looking for a full time/temp to hire inventory clerk. Hours are Monday – Friday 11am – 7:30pm. Pay is $17.20/hr.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and process outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation.
- Utilize computer systems, such as transportation management software and warehouse management systems, to track and verify shipments.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate and efficient loading and unloading of shipments.
- Verify shipping documents, including bills of lading and shipping labels, for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including shipping manifests and delivery confirmations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
