- Minimum 2 years of experience leading a worship team in a similar environment as set forth in the responsibilities outlined below.
- Must be experienced and proficient in leading as part of a well-rehearsed band. If not an instrumentalist, must be able to relate to musicians regarding song arrangements, chosen keys, tempo and rhythm.

- Pass a background check
First and foremost to Jesus Christ, our one true worship leader, and then to the Elders of Fellowship Bible Church.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Build, maintain, schedule and prepare a worship team to create a comfortable, inviting atmosphere to lead the congregants of Fellowship Bible Church into an encounter with God.
- Develop a protocol through which potential team members are interviewed to confirm personal beliefs that align with Fellowship Bible Church and auditioned to confirm vocal or instrumental competence to integrate with the existing worship team.
- Provide leadership, administration and oversight to the team which includes instrumentalists, vocalists, sound, video and lighting techs.
- Provide shepherding care for worship team. Promote a small group atmosphere and relationship among the worship team and serve as the "small group leader" for the team. Within this role, also assume mentoring and visitation to be part of the investment into the lives of worship team members.
- Instill in team members an appreciation for proper worship as an honor to God, not an opportunity to "perform".
- Train, equip, encourage and nurture members of the worship team so that they become skilled, confident "lead worshipers".
- Prepare the team for worship through regular weekly rehearsals. Set the tone for the team by exemplifying punctuality, preparedness and confidence.
- Lead the team, including vocalists, instrumentalists, sound and video techs through a rehearsal that assures that all can be at their best for the Sunday services. Ability to program click tracks and cues in Aviom in-ear monitor system.
- Attend scheduled staff meetings with pastoral staff and administration.
- Meet at least weekly with the teaching pastor to plan the corporate worship services at FBC.
- Oversee video and audio recording of Sunday morning services and post to web site, maintaining the You Tube channel used for livestream of Sunday services.
- Work closely with church secretary, using their skills in graphic design and creativity to create slides to use for pre-service announcements, sermon slides and posts for social media such as FBC web page, and related media platforms.
- Ensure the FBC "brand" is consistent throughout all mediums.
- Maintain and upgrade all elements of social media and computer hardware required for effective worship.
- Oversee song selection as well as other elements of worship such as drama, scripture readings, videos, etc. with the goal that all aspects of the service support the theme or teaching points of the service. Communicate the goals or theme of each service to the team so that they may be working toward the same end.
- Selection of music should always include a style reflective of the worship culture of FBC, an accuracy of doctrine, and a reflection of the mission and vision of Fellowship Bible Church. With these things in mind, the leader has a great opportunity to choose songs from the classic standard hymns of the church as well as the songs of current generations and original songs generated from the inspiration of the Lord at FBC.
- Provide all graphics, lyrics, videos and other visuals to AV team by an agreed upon deadline. Alternatively, see that all such material is properly set up in Pro Presenter prior to arrival of AV team for Sunday morning rehearsal.
- Be available to assist in planning and leadership of any special events as organized by the church.
- Plan and oversee an annual worship budget in coordination with the elders.
