Overview

WVU Medicine - United Hospital Center is actively recruiting hospitalists for a large community hospital setting in Bridgeport, West Virginia. The position involves practicing in a hospitalist group with access to all medical specialties for consult and strong administrative support.

• Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries to the human internal organ system.
• Establish preventive health practices for patients.
• Collaborate with a full spectrum of specialists on consult as needed.

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligibility to obtain a state medical license.
• Completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine.
• Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.

• Non-profit, 300-bed new hospital facility with an open 20-bed critical care unit.
• Collegial work environment with full spectrum of specialists on consult.
