Civil Engineering Project Manager

At Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), we’re looking for a Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our Bridgeport, WV team. You’ll work closely with our Principals in the civil/site practice to plan and execute projects across the private, public, and energy sectors including Oil & Gas (Linear, Well Pad), Site Layout, and Linear Power. • Manage project teams to design site layouts, erosion and sedimentation controls, stormwater management systems, and prepare utility and grading plans;
• Develop proposals, scopes of work, and project budgets; oversee financial performance and profitability;
• Perform quality control reviews and ensure compliance with design standards and regulatory requirements;
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and government officials throughout the project life‑cycle;
• Participate in public meetings and project presentations as needed;
• Mentor and assist in the professional development of staff, including conducting annual reviews and setting development goals;
• Collaborate with senior management to customize your career path through leadership and business development training.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering Technology (M.S. is a plus);
• 6+ years’ professional engineering experience;
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.);
• Experienced in technical software and Civil Engineering technology, including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Hydrologic/Hydraulic modeling software (Hydraflow/Hydra
  
  CAD/HY‑8);
• Basic understanding of project financial management (AR/WIP) of projects;
• Experience in scope of service and budget (proposal) development;
• Proven ability to effectively mentor and manage staff;
• Experience communicating and coordinating between staff, clients, contractors, and government regulatory officials.
