We are seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Land Development team in Bridgeport, WV. This team works on diverse projects for public and private clients, including commercial, residential, and industrial developments, public improvements, reclamation projects, and outdoor recreation initiatives.
In this role, you will be asked to:- Collaborate with project managers and design teams to develop designs from concept through permitting and construction.
- Coordinate with agencies, municipalities, and utilities throughout the design and permitting process.
- Prepare permit packages for zoning, stormwater, environmental agencies, and special use permits, including plans, details, calculations, and reports.
- Develop bid and construction packages with plans, specifications, cost estimates, and permit documents.
- Draft technical reports such as assessments, preliminary engineering reports, and stormwater pollution prevention plans.
- Work with construction inspection personnel and review field reports to ensure compliance with contract documents.
- BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience.
- FE/PE certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
