Job SummaryWe are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) to join our team. PCAs play a vital role in providing in-home care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life. As a PCA, you will assist with activities of daily living, personal care, medication reminders, and companionship.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as directed.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining a balanced diet.
- Support clients in light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and engage in meaningful conversations with clients.
- Assist with transportation for errands, appointments, and outings as needed.
- Document care activities, observations, and any changes in the client’s condition in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor, ensuring the comfort and well-being of clients at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to create and update care plans.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified as a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) or completion of a relevant training program.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and schedules.
