This part-time night shift role offers you the chance to provide specialized nursing care across multiple facilities in the Mercy Southeast region, focusing on adult and geriatric patients.

As a vital member of our team, you will utilize your clinical expertise in various specialties, including:

• Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg)
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Emergency Department (ED)
• Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care.
• Collaborating with diverse care teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Floating to different units as needed, providing flexibility and variety in your work.

Department: Regional Float Pool
Status: Part Time (24 hours per week)
Shift: Nights

• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 - No Contract
• Base Pay: Determined by Experience, PLUS Regional Float Pool Perk and Shift Differentials:
• $2.75/Evenings
• $4.60/Nights
• $1.50/Weekends

  • Tuition Reimbursement: $2,000 per year
  • ASN to BSN:
    Up to $16,000

You will have the opportunity to work at a minimum of three facilities, including:

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program (Preferred: BSN)
• Licensure: Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
• Experience:
  • One year of recent bedside RN experience for Med/Surg.
  • Two years of recent bedside RN experience for other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.)
  • Preferred Experience: Epic experience
• Certifications:
  • BLS for Med Surg and Behavioral Health
  • BLS & NRP for Women's Health
  • BLS, ACLS for Critical Care
  • BLS, ACLS, & PALS for Emergency Department
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk most of the time, lift and turn patients with assistance, and push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds.
