Your Role:As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will:
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Maintain professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
- Coordinate patient care with various departments.
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
- Perform your duties in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Education: A degree from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: A current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or completion within 30 days of hire).
- Additional certifications may be required based on your unit, such as ACLS, NRP, or others.
This role requires:
- The ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Physical agility to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
