Position: Case Manager Coordinator (Parole)

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining client records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating, monitoring & documenting relevant issues for residents.
  • Providing technical support for program staff, including resident intake.
  • Serving as a liaison between the professional staff and residents.
  • Participating in all mandated staff development sessions.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by Program Personnel.
  • Assisting with group facilitations.
  • Filing for Case Managers.
  • Mail sorting and distribution.
  • Assigning community service.
  • Facilitate orientation.
  • Contacting institutions to confirm resident departure times.
  • Generate reports (BOT & Pre-Release).
  • Track resident BOT / COR attendance.
Knowledge
  • Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • Modern principles of Criminal Justice and Community Corrections.
  • Modern office principles and protocol.
  • Basic business communications practices.
Abilities
  • Understand and comply with company and contract agency rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels in the organization; express ideas clearly and completely, written and oral; manage time to meet the responsibilities and duties of this position.
  • Give attention to detail and follow-through; establish and maintain appropriate working relationships with co-workers and contracting agency representatives; execute all duties in accordance with this position description.
Education Requirements

Job related work experience may be substituted for academic experience. High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required. Associates degree in Criminal Justice or a social science is preferred and demonstrated required knowledge, skills and abilities.
