This part-time exempt position reports to the Program Director and is responsible for providing substance use disorder services for residents. The role also includes preparing case histories and records, parole and furlough planning, referrals, and other related duties.

• Provide substance use disorder services to residents.
• Prepare case histories and record-keeping.
• Plan parole and furlough scheduling.
• Facilitate referrals and related duties.
• Engage residents to gain their confidence and cooperation for effective treatment.

• Knowledge of drug and alcohol abuse subculture.
• Familiarity with community treatment facilities and resources.
• Understanding of individual and group behavior and effective ways of working with clients.
• Proficiency with treatment modalities, techniques, and procedures as they apply to substance use disorder population.
• Ability to express ideas clearly orally and in writing.
• Ability to plan, organize work, and prepare appropriate reports.
• Ability to participate as a member of a treatment team.
• Ability to manage a flexible work schedule.
• Ability to conduct group and family counseling.
• Meet contracting agency clearance requirements.

A CADC license with one year of relevant casework experience with an adult substance use disorder population.
