Candidates should live close-by and be available within one hour.

Pays 175 Availability Fee; 150 per event.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients involved in restraint situations to determine medical needs and proper care.
• Provide immediate medical evaluations and interventions to ensure patient safety during restraint episodes.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, psychiatrists, and the interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans for restrained patients.
• Monitor patients closely during and after restraint procedures to ensure adherence to safety protocols and documentation requirements.
• Educate and support nursing staff in best practices for managing restraint situations and patient care.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes per hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in post-incident debriefings to evaluate restraint episodes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with current best practices regarding restraint management and provide training as necessary.
