As a Facilities Custodian, you’ll report to the Facilities Supervisor while managing cleanliness and safety across various facilities. You’ll perform custodial duties, room setups, and basic repairs. Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting courteously with staff and visitors, ensuring every facility is public-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks including vacuuming and mopping
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, restocking supplies
• Manage waste receptacles and ensure cleanliness
• Secure facilities and monitor for maintenance issues
• Set up rooms for events and perform minor repairs
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum five years’ custodial experience
• Class 5 license required
• WHMIS and First-aid/CPR certification
• Reliable transportation to various facilities
