Licensed Practical Nurse Eastern Passage NS

Become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Ocean View Continuing Care Centre in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, and support compassionate resident care in a part-time capacity. Your contribution will make a difference in a supportive environment.

At Ocean View, LPNs work closely with RNs to provide direct patient care. You will perform medication administration, engage with residents and families, and participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to nursing. Key Responsibilities:

• Execute direct nursing responsibilities with compassion

• Administer medications following nursing protocols

• Maintain communication with residents, families, and staff

• Participate in periodic 24-hour shifts across programs

• Employ proper techniques for lifting and moving

Requirements:

• Valid registration with Nova Scotia's Nursing Regulator

• Proven experience in pharmacology

• Capable of working varied shifts, including nights

• Exceptional verbal and written communication ability
