Department Information
The Division of Human Resources and Talent Management (HRTM) manages the employee lifecycle within BSU, including recruitment, onboarding, training, compensation, performance management, and employee relations. HRTM’s purpose is to create a productive, compliant, and engaged workforce, contributing to BSU’s overall success.
Position Information
The HRTM Office Assistant reports to the Director of HRTM Operations and greets and triages current and prospective employees visiting the main office.
Other Responsibilities in This Role Include
- Routing inquiries to the appropriate HRTM staff member.
- Organizing and auditing employee files, both physical and digital, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages.
- Delivering mail to other on‑campus departments.
- Assisting in the preparation of various on‑campus events (e.g., preparing handouts, creating flyers, putting together giveaways).
- Other duties as assigned.
This position is ideal for students majoring or interested in Management, Human Resources, and/or Business Operations. Please note
- The hours available for this position are Tuesday and/or Thursday, 9 am – 2 pm. Additional hours on other days may be available on an as‑needed basis.
