The Assistant Operations Manager, reporting to the Operations Manager, is responsible for managing the day‑to‑day operational execution of assigned client, area, and/or shift. Responsibilities include effective labor schedule, flow, efficiencies, supervision, and proper utilization of space, equipment, and resources.

The compensation range for this position is $75K–$90K, depending on experience.

This shift works 7:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday‑Friday.

• Accountable for the safe, efficient, and economical operation of the warehouse for assigned client, area, and/or shift in the areas of staffing, warehouse operations, maintenance of the facility and equipment, implementation of safety, security, housekeeping and sanitation programs, budgeting, and inventory control.
• Manage all distribution services of assigned client, area, and/or shift, which may include receiving, storing, shipping, handling return/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements and/or KPIs, if applicable, are met in an efficient manner.
• Ensure the operation exceeds customers’ expectations for service and responsiveness.
• Develop, prioritize and direct programs to ensure the efficient and cost‑effective operation and utilization of the warehouse for assigned client, area, and/or shift.
• Identify root cause of Nonconformance Reports and implement Corrective Actions Report as needed for assigned client, area, and/or shift.
• Participate in the preparation of budgets, revenue projections, and account analysis of assigned client, area, and/or shift.
• Utilize measurement systems to evaluate productivity, quality, and variance from standards.
• Continually optimize facility storage to minimize the inefficient utilization of space.
• Responsible for maintaining physical inventory accuracy at a defined company rate.
• Ensure all required documentation and system transactions (electronically and/or manually) for assigned area(s)/account(s) are completed in a timely manner.
• Establish and maintain credible, professional relationships with clients, internal business lines, and external vendors.
• Partner with the customer to maintain a high level of satisfaction with frequent communication and follow‑up on customer concerns and requests.
