Role Overview
The Senior Allocation and CPFR Planner is responsible for ensuring efficient allocation planning and serving as the conduit between customers and the demand planning team to support Collaboration Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) duties. This role focuses on collaborating closely with the demand planning team, sales team, and our Channel Partners to execute a robust demand plan and communicate any supply delays or constraints.

The role involves understanding the individual accounts’ business strategy and assisting with overall demand planning to maximize forecast accuracy. Additionally, the role focuses on executing allocation plans across multiple warehouses to ensure orders are being allocated as per plan. The role works closely with the Order Management, Supply, Sales and Marketing teams to plan allocation priorities in the system for on‑time order processing and shipments.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Allocation Planning
    • Execute allocation plans and maintain weekly allocation quantities on constrained SKUs with inventory shortages to ensure optimal distribution of products across various channels.
    • Partner with Sales and Marketing to understand the allocation splits across top accounts.
    • Load SKU‑Customer allocations into SAP S4/IBP.
    • Track order and shipment against allocation, redistribute if necessary.
    • Coordinate with Order Management to ensure accurate and timely execution.
    • Monitor allocation plans based on sales trends and inventory availability and advise stakeholders accordingly.
    • Partner with Marketing on setting up SKUs for manual allocation.
    • Identify out‑of‑footprint opportunities and coordinate with the demand and supply planning team and internal stakeholders to resolve.
  • Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, & Replenishment (CPFR)
    • Serve as the liaison between customers, demand managers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate the CPFR process.
    • Facilitate meetings and communications with customers to provide insights and ensure cohesiveness.
    • Review customer data such as POS trends, inventory coverage, in‑stocks, store/placement changes.
    • Track customer forecast accuracy and align with the accounts on the SKUs/categories requiring the most attention in improving our joint forecast.
    • Summarize forecast changes for the customer account demand plans and highlight major impacts to the Demand and Supply Planners team.
    • Review customer in‑stocks and create root cause and corrective action analysis for items that fall below the agreed service level agreement (SLA).
