Spring 2026 Customer Service Assistant (Work Study)

Position Description

BSU’s Fitness Center is available to currently enrolled BSU students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
The Fitness Center’s Customer Service Assistant will be responsible for:

• Handling all aspects of membership registrations, sales and inquiries while preventing unauthorized access into the Thornburg Fitness Center
• Recording usage data and performing light cleaning of floors and equipment
• Monitoring fitness center and weight‑room activity and enforcing policies, including but not limited to ensuring proper reservations by members
• Enforcing all traffic flow patterns
• Conducting regular cleaning and sanitizing duties

Physical Demands

May need to lift up to 45 pounds.
