Client Service Representative (B2B Experience Preferred)

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMJob Type: Full-time Starting Pay: $20 per hour

About Us:

We are a wholesale orchid grower and retailer providing premium orchids to wholesalers, garden centers, florists, and retailers throughout the Northeast. We are seeking a dependable and organized Client Service Representative to join our team. This position focuses on maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients, managing orders, and assisting new accounts during setup — ensuring every customer receives attentive and accurate service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Call existing wholesale clients regularly to take orders, confirm product availability, and make recommendations based on their needs.
  • Follow up with new account inquiries and applications, providing product and pricing information and guiding them through the setup process.
  • Communicate professionally by phone, text message, and email to ensure smooth coordination of orders, delivery details, and payment processing.
  • Answer questions about orchid varieties, growing processes, care instructions, and post-delivery issues.
  • Prepare and record sales invoices and payments accurately.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer records and assist with general administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with greenhouse and delivery teams to ensure excellent service from order to delivery.
  • Assist with order preparation when clients have special needs or requests.
  • Maintain a positive, service-oriented attitude in every client interaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of customer service or retail sales experience (B2B preferred).
  • Excellent telephone and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
  • Comfortable using basic computer programs such as Word, Excel, Email, and Google Chrome.
  • Willing to learn Quick Books and internal systems (training provided).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge or interest in orchids, horticulture, or greenhouse products is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Mandarin language ability preferred but not required.
  • Ability to Commute to work in Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
