Title Spring 2026 Lifeguard (Non-Work Study)

Position Description

BSU’s Children’s Physical Developmental Clinic ( CPDC ) is a nationally recognized academic program that fosters professional development, service learning, and leadership development. The CPDC affords students from all majors a challenging opportunity to volunteer as clinicians and work with children and youth with disabilities, ages 18 months to 18 years.

The CPDC program is looking for a student employee that is a certified lifeguard available to work on Saturday mornings from 8:30am-11:30am.

Preferred Qualifications

Must have updated lifeguard certifications.

Physical Demands

Lifeguards need strong swimming abilities, good endurance, and the capacity for quick reactions and rescue techniques. They must be able to lift and move objects, potentially including individuals in distress, and may need to work in warm or cold weather conditions.
