01st December, 2025A leading provider of ground investigation and geotechnical services is recruiting for this permanent role. You will join an experienced and enthusiastic team delivering cutting‑edge geotechnical and ground‑investigation solutions to a diverse range of clients across the Central Region (potentially including international projects).

- Leverage your expertise in geotechnical and geological disciplines

Preferred Requirements:
- Actively participate in marketing efforts to develop and maintain existing and new business
- Support Project Managers in delivering projects on time and to budget, maintaining high standards of service and producing high‐quality reports
- Assist in managing the continued technical and professional development of staff, including task‑specific training and mentoring of junior colleagues
- Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals, represent the company at tender visits, and provide technical advice to clients
- Undertake a variety of site‑based tasks, including active construction sites and linear projects for roads and railways, with a minimum level of fitness required
- Demonstrable experience in a senior or principal‑level geotechnical engineering role
- Strong understanding of ground investigation techniques, geotechnical design principles, and relevant standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication, report writing, and client‑facing skills
- Willingness and capability to undertake site work, including active construction environments and linear infrastructure projects
- A proactive, solution‑focused approach to engineering challenges
Preferred Qualifications:
- Qualified to degree level in a geotechnical discipline
- Completion of relevant health and safety training schemes, such as CSCS (Manager level), SMSTS, and CDM 2007 Regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
