The Project Engineer works on-site within the Project Management Team and is responsible for contract setup, submittals, assisting with the bid package process, change orders, and scheduling of the project. The scope of responsibilities varies with project size and complexity, requiring a flexible, adaptable team-player with strong communication and client service skills.
Project EngineerRequired Qualifications
- 1‑3 years experience creating documentation such as RFIs and client correspondence on contract notification provisions.
- 1‑3 years experience reading and understanding construction plans, drawings, and technical specifications, and outlining required specifications for submission to clients to ensure submittals and shop drawings are approved.
- 1‑3 years experience with project close‑out.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or 8 years of equivalent experience.
