A well established consultancy with an excellent reputation for innovative design and technology are seeking a bridge engineer with 5 years experience

Our client one of the UK's leading private Engineering Consultancies, is seeking an experienced Bridge Engineer to join their dynamic team with around 5 years experience, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of public and private projects, leaving a positive impact on our communities and society.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a talented team of designers and CAD technicians to deliver innovative solutions
  • Forge strong relationships with clients and senior staff, driving the growth and success of the business
  • Contribute to the technical development and supervision of your engineering colleagues
Preferred Requirements
  • Prepare bridge design calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and other project documentation in line with company, client, and industry standards
  • Utilize specialist bridge analysis software, such as MIDAS, LUSAS, and Autodesk Structural Bridge Design, to undertake complex bridge modelling
  • Lead the resolution of technical issues and assist with the preparation of project-related documentation
  • Design in 3D modelling environments, including Revit and Civil 3D
  • Attend design meetings and site inspections, fostering strong client relationships
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in civil engineering
  • Chartered professional status
  • Substantial structural design experience within the bridges sector and in a consultancy environment, with a preference for previous site experience
