Process Owner and Systems Lead (Process Engineer) – Real

On-site, New Jersey

Contract Duration: 12 months (initial)

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm (40 hours/week)

Base pay range: $70.00/hr - $100.00/hr rate: $75-$100/hour (commensurate with experience). Target

Start Date:

September 1, 2025.

We are seeking a skilled Process Owner and Systems Lead to support a high-impact pharmaceutical project focused on potent waste and temperature control systems. This role serves as a technical SME, managing system design, vendor coordination, FAT execution, and lifecycle support.

• Act as system owner and SME for potent waste tanks, containment systems, and temperature control units.
• Lead design, implementation, and lifecycle management of tanks, tank waste, and temperature control systems.
• Serve as the primary technical interface between vendors, internal stakeholders, and end users.
• Manage vendors including Budzar, IMEC, and tank suppliers.
• Oversee FAT preparation, installation, and startup activities.
• Review and support PI&Ds, submittals, and protocol development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: automation, safety, quality, facilities, utilities, and EPCMs.
• Support commissioning and qualification (C&Q) activities including protocol writing and documentation (e.g., Kneat).
• Ensure engineering documentation aligns with site infrastructure and regulatory standards.
• Participate in design reviews, construction support, and protocol development.
• Provide support to additional systems as needed.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• 8 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proven experience in vendor management and system ownership in GMP environments.
• Familiarity with tank systems and temperature control technologies (e.g., Budzar).
• Experience in high-temperature range environments and C&Q activities.
• Strong background in design reviews, equipment installation, and end-user interaction.
• Must be able to work on-site in NJ.
