Base pay range: $20.05/hr — $33.11/hr

• Handles patient intake, updates medical records, and administers appropriate screening tools.
• Records medical information and test results, conducts patient interviews, takes and records vital signs, collects specimens, and administers medication under physician supervision.
• Assists with walk‑in and scheduled clinic visits, ensures verification and recording of clinical data and adherence to quality standards.
• Monitors environment for compliance with continual accreditation readiness and evaluates practice schedule for changes or updates.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the certified medical assistant scope of practice, incorporating elements of holistic patient‑centered and team‑based care.
• Guides patients through the health care system and helps patients arrive at scheduled appointments on time.
• Provides emotional support related to the patient's clinical situation in accordance with the patient's plan of care.
• Assists with referrals of patients to the appropriate specialist for diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• National Certification CCMA from: NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA, or NCCT. Or precertification agreement must be signed if expired or receiving certification within 60 days of employment.
• BLS upon hire.

• Associate's degree in Medical Care or related field.
• 2+ years experience in outpatient, ambulatory setting.
• Excellent communication, work ethic, active listening, adaptability to a fast‑paced environment, and uphold utmost professionalism at all times.
• EPIC or similar EMR system experience.
• Ability to work within computer systems.
