We are seeking a seasoned Digital Operations Manager to join the Marketing Effectiveness Team as we build and deliver innovative business capabilities to provide an unprecedented, customer-centric experience while driving a competitive advantage for our brands.
As part of the Marketing Effectiveness Team, this candidate will report to the Director of Digital Strategy & Operations, partner with internal Digital Strategists, and lead agency partners to coordinate the execution of digital projects from conception through development and delivery.
As a team player, s/he will oversee all factors that affect a digital project’s success, ensure delivery within time, cost and quality parameters. S/he will have regular contact with key internal and external stakeholders throughout various stages of projects. Candidates should have a solid understanding of the digital landscape as well as a strong level of technical knowledge relating to websites and digital solutions.
Basic familiarity with SEM, social, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, mobile development, and scripting needed.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working within a large organization and has a strong interest in improving the customer experience by helping businesses utilize digital platforms to engage their target audiences in a highly relevant way. S/he will have sound digital knowledge including digital marketing campaign production. S/he will have had previous exposure to software applications such as Sitecore, Adobe Web Suite and Photoshop;
and, be able to utilize reporting facilities such as Google Analytics.
Role Responsibilities:
Employ a range of influencing techniques to engage a cross-functional team towards the successful execution of digital projects
Partner with internal Digital Strategists and external Agency Partners to oversee the implementation of the company’s digital marketing programs and tactics
Ensure sharing and collaboration across the portfolio of projects, including identification of best practices (in measurement, execution, etc.) and asset sharing (e.g., content)
Lead cross-functional team in the build and management of project roadmaps and ensure all partners and deliverables are on schedule
Apply a good level of technical knowledge relating to websites and digital solutions
Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to ensure delivery of accurate specifications for projects
Ensure all digital stakeholders have the necessary information to perform their work diligently
Proactively identify optimization opportunities leveraging all available analytics
Oversee A/B and multivariable tests
Manage content through a review committee process
Manage and raise all work orders
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Web or Communications preferred)
Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience
Demonstrated understanding of the digital landscape
Diverse skill set including critical, analytical & problem solving, change resilience, superior time management, relationship management, negotiation and influencing, teamwork and leadership
Ability to prioritize, plan, and lead teams to achieve business objectives
Attention to detail, organization, and follow through
Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and keep numerous projects on track
Creative, collaborative and solutions oriented
Thoughtful in verbal and written communication skills
Pharmaceutical experience preferred
Comfortable navigating large business structures
