Infrastructure Solution Architect

Cognizant is looking for an Infrastructure Solution Architect to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of advanced GPU-based computing environments and cybersecurity solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise in high-performance infrastructure (including NVIDIA DGX systems, parallel file systems, and high-speed networking) with strategic leadership to drive industry-leading cyber security revenue growth. The ideal candidate will architect scalable AI-ready environments, manage complex clusters, and ensure robust security frameworks while engaging with C-level executives to deliver innovative, outcome-based solutions across Fortune 200 and 500 enterprises.

• System Design & Deployment
  • Architect and deploy NVIDIA DGX systems and GPU-based compute clusters.
  • Design scalable parallel file systems (Lustre, BeeGFS, GPFS).
  • Integrate high-speed interconnects (Infini Band, RoCE, RDMA).
  • Collaborate on rack planning and airflow optimisation.
• Cluster & Infrastructure Management
  • Configure and manage Slurm Workload Manager for job scheduling.
  • Deploy and maintain cluster orchestration tools.
  • Automate provisioning using PXE boot, Terraform, Redfish, Kubernetes.
  • Perform firmware updates, BIOS/IPMI/BMC configuration, and OS provisioning.
• Networking & Performance Optimisation
  • Design and validate network topologies (IPMI, internal/external networks, Infini Band fabrics).
  • Optimise RDMA and RoCE configurations for low-latency, high-throughput transfers.
  • Conduct performance benchmarking using GPU-Burn, NCCL, NVSM.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting
  • Implement system health checks and diagnostics across compute, storage, and network layers.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues to ensure reliable infrastructure operation.
• Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead strategic planning for cybersecurity and AI infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage budgets, talent acquisition, and project delivery.
  • Drive innovation through proof-of-concepts and credentialize solutions.
• Revenue Growth
  • Drive industry-leading cybersecurity revenue growth across identified industries.
  • Develop cross-service line offerings aligned with compliance and security standards.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives in Fortune 200 & 500 accounts.

• 15+ years of experience in complex solutioning with broad technical and functional/technology area with market-standard certifications.
• Deep understanding of NVIDIA DGX architecture, CUDA, GPU compute.
• Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills.
• Expertise in Slurm, parallel file systems, Infini Band/RDMA/RoCE networking.
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), automation tools (Ansible, Redfish).
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Pulumi).
• Strong knowledge of security services portfolio: IAM, Threat Management, Risk Services, SOC, GRC.
• Proven ability to manage executive relationships and align stakeholders.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in building outcome-based commercial models.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mediate complex client relationships.
• Deep industry knowledge of IT services and outsourcing globally.

• Advanced certifications in cybersecurity and cloud (CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect).
• Experience with AI/ML workload orchestration and GPU scheduling (NVIDIA GPU Operator).
• Familiarity with platforms like Run.ai, Clear
