How You Will Make an Impact
- Lead the advancement of enterprise-wide data governance initiatives and act as a key contributor within the Enterprise Data Governance Office.
- Identify, engage, and onboard Data Owners and Data Stewards across business domains.
- Develop, author, and maintain policies and procedures governing the full data lifecycle, ensuring alignment and compliance across the organization.
- Partner with business and technical teams to execute data classification, access governance, and data retention programs.
- Build an inventory of critical data elements that map to business processes and strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with business leaders to assess data quality challenges and guide remediation approaches.
- Evaluate the maturity of current data governance capabilities and propose enhancements that drive operational excellence.
- Present concepts, roadmaps, and findings to cross-functional audiences with clarity and influence.
Do You Have a Track Record of Success in Data Governance?
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Data Governance within a complex environment.
- Strong understanding of data lifecycle management practices.
- Familiarity with Data Classification, DLP (Data Loss Prevention), Data Catalog, or Data Observability tools (preferred).
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector is a plus.
- Technical degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while driving outcomes across both business and technical teams.
