Jr. Lawyer at Pritchard Industries

Pritchard Industries is seeking a highly motivated Junior Lawyer to join our in‑house legal team. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience providing corporate legal support in contract negotiation, litigation management, corporate governance, and commercial leasing. This role will provide direct legal assistance to the General Counsel and SVP of Human Resources, supporting business operations across multiple divisions.

This position requires daily, onsite presence at our Bridgewater, NJ Corporate office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of corporate contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, confidentiality agreements, and client proposals.
  • Support litigation management, including coordination with outside counsel, document preparation, and internal investigation assistance.
  • Manage and maintain corporate governance and secretarial records, including corporate filings.
  • Review and negotiate commercial lease agreements, amendments, and renewals.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and company policies.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with HR, Finance, and Operations teams to provide practical legal guidance that supports business objectives.
  • Support the implementation of policies, procedures, and training to reduce legal risks.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the New Jersey Bar (or ability to obtain NJ license promptly).
  • 2–4 years of legal experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
  • Experience with contracts and litigation support required.
  • Excellent written, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and sound judgment.
Compensation
  • Salary range: $115,000 – $175,000/annually
