They're now looking for a strategic Outside Sales Representative to expand their reach and support their growing business throughout New England!
Job Description:
As an Outside Sales Representative, you'll be a critical player in our commercial operations, primarily focused on sourcing and acquiring scrap metals directly from businesses. This isn't just about transactions; it's about building lasting partnerships and becoming a trusted expert in the dynamic world of metal recycling.
- Strategic Sourcing: You'll proactively identify and target industrial clients across the manufacturing, municipal, construction, and auto salvage markets to purchase their excess material and scrap metal for recycling. This involves leveraging referrals, networking, cold-calling/knocking, and following up on inbound leads.
- Negotiate & Manage:
You'll be responsible for finding new suppliers, expertly negotiating pricing and purchasing agreements, and coordinating all aspects of the acquisition process. This includes scheduling deliveries, overseeing inspections, and addressing any quality or environmental concerns. - Build Relationships: You'll be the face of our company in the field, building and nurturing strong relationships with a diverse client base throughout the New England region.
