** MSS Security is seeking a dedicated and professional Part Time Security Officer to join our team at Services Australia in Bridgewater. This is a static guard role, ideal for someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to ensuring the safety and smooth operation of the premises.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Provide a professional, courteous and helpful point of contact for staff and visitors, assisting with general inquiries and directions.
* Respond appropriately and promptly to incidents, emergencies, or security breaches, ensuring the safety of all personnel and visitors.
* Monitor and control access points to the building, ensuring only authorised personnel are granted entry.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high-security standards and resolve any issues that arise.
** Ideal candidates will have:
*** Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deescalate tense situations.
* A readiness, confidence and assertiveness to manage challenging situations.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
** Requirements:
*** Full Australian working rights.
* Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations.
* Valid Tasmanian Security licence.
* Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
* Working With Vulnerable People (or willing to obtain).
